Our spot is over at Mona-Villa P-20, which is on R-5 in Krantinagar, Bilaspur. It feels more like a house than a big corporate office, which is fine by us. Being in Chhattisgarh, it gets quite hot, especially during the summer months. Working out of this villa means we have a bit of a different routine compared to the folks in the big industrial zones. We are Lafarge India Pvt. Limited here, but we keep it pretty low-key. The 495004 zip code is home for us during the work week. There are trees around and the neighborhood is usually okay. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and local coordination. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s an honest way to work. We don't have any big flashy signs out front. People who need to find us usually know the way to Krantinagar anyway. It’s a simple setup where we just handle the day-to-day business. We have a few desks and the usual office gear. It isn't anything to brag about, but it works for what we do. Most of us have been here a while and we know the local area well. We just try to get the work finished so we can head home. The villa has its own charm, even if it is just an office for us.
