Acc Cement

We are situated in the Acc Colony in Bamana, over in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Our specific unit is Trt-B 3/4. Being up here in the hills is a bit different from the plains. The air is cooler, but the work is just as steady. The colony itself is a quiet place, mostly made up of people who work in the industry or live nearby. We handle the Acc Cement operations from this small block. It’s not a large office by any means. It’s more like a repurposed living space where we’ve set up our desks and filing systems. The view from the window is mostly of the other colony buildings and the hills in the distance. We don't get as many random walk-ins as a city office might, but we stay busy with the local distribution. Most of the people we see are our own neighbors or drivers who have been coming here for years. We keep a kettle going for tea because it gets chilly in the mornings and evenings. There’s a sense of routine here that you don't find in the bigger cities. We start early, take a break in the afternoon, and wrap things up before it gets too dark. The walls have a few maps of the district pinned up and some calendars from years past. It’s a comfortable, low-key place to spend the day. We don't need much more than that to get the job done.
