This is the Gagal Cement Works which belongs to Associated Cement Companies Ltd. We are located in Barmana, which is in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. P. Pandey is the one who looks after the Head HR and Administration side of things here. Working in the hills is a lot different than working in the plains. The air is crisp but the winters can be very cold. The office is right there at the worksite, so you always hear the sounds of the plant in the background. It is a big operation and there is always something to do, whether it’s managing staff schedules or dealing with administrative paperwork. We don't use a lot of fancy corporate talk. We just call it like it is and get the job done. The roads around Barmana can be a bit tricky with all the trucks carrying cement, so you have to be careful when you’re driving. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People around here know the Gagal works well. It’s a place where people work hard and the administration tries to keep everything running without too many hiccups. We don't have a polished front desk with flowers. It’s an industrial site office meant for real work. We focus on the people and the daily tasks that keep the cement moving out to the rest of the country.
