Acc Ltd

This branch is located at the Gagal Cement Works up in Barmana, which is in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is a beautiful part of the country, though the industrial side of things keeps us pretty grounded. Acc Ltd has a major setup here. Working at the cement works means you get used to the smell of dust and the sound of heavy machinery. It is a very hands-on environment. Most of the staff here have been around for years. We aren't tucked away in some clean office; we are right where the action happens. The hills around us are nice to look at during breaks, but most of the time we are looking at logs and schedules. It is a hardworking atmosphere. We don't have time for corporate talk or fancy slogans. We just need to make sure the plant stays running and the cement gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the mountain roads make transport a bit tricky, especially when the weather turns bad. But we are used to that. It is just part of living and working in HP. We take things as they come and fix problems as they happen. It’s a practical way of doing things. No one puts on airs here; we are just workers doing a job. We handle the Bilaspur district logistics and keep the factory moving as best as we can.
