Tulsi Kathiyawadi

We are right here on Anand Vidyanagar Road. If you know where Gold Cinema is, we are just a short walk from there. It is a busy part of Anand. My family started this because we like the food from our region. Kathiyawadi cooking is what we do every day. There is nothing fancy about the place. We have tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some people come in for a quick lunch while others sit for a long time with their friends. It gets quite loud during the evening hours when everyone finishes work and comes in to eat. We use the spices that are common around here. Usually, it is just us and a few helpers in the kitchen. We do not really have a big staff. The menu stays mostly the same because that is what people expect when they walk in. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like when it rains heavily on the road outside, but we stay open. It is a simple life running a food place in 388001. We see the same faces every week. Some kids who used to come with their parents are now coming with their own friends. That is how time goes by here. We just keep the stove going and make sure there is enough food for whoever shows up at the door. It is not a big corporate thing, just a local spot where we work.
