Nice N Spice Restaurant

You will find Nice N Spice Restaurant on the first floor of Ramdev Square in Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Anand. We occupy shops 1 to 5. We are located very close to the Sardar Patel Statue, which is a big local landmark. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but it gives us a bit of a view of the street below. Anand is a busy town, especially with the university nearby. We get a lot of students who are looking for a meal that doesn't cost too much. The restaurant isn't decorated with anything expensive. We have simple tables and the lighting is just regular bulbs. We have a small group of workers who handle the cooking and the cleaning. It’s a lot of work to keep the place running every day from morning until night. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just want to serve food and pay our bills. Sometimes the kitchen gets backed up when a large group of students arrives all at once. We tell them they have to wait, and they usually don't mind. We’ve been at this location for a few years now and we know most of the shop owners in Ramdev Square. It feels like a little community here. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs, one order at a time. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy.
