Shorma King

You can find Shorma King over at the Krishna Pujan Complex in Anand. We are in Shop F 8, which is pretty close to the Bharat Petrol Pump at Lotiya Bhagol. The main thing we do here is shawarma. We have that big vertical grill where the meat spins all day long. The smell usually travels out into the complex, which is how most people find us. It is a small space, mostly for people to stand and eat or take their food to go. We do not have much in the way of seating, just a couple of plastic stools if they are empty. The kitchen area takes up most of the shop space. We spend our mornings prepping the meat and cutting the vegetables into thin strips. It is a lot of chopping and mixing sauces. The 388001 area gets quite busy in the evenings with students and people finishing work, so that is our peak time. Sometimes the line gets a bit long and we are working as fast as we can to wrap the rolls in paper. The grill makes the shop quite warm, especially during the summer months in Anand, but we are used to it by now. We have got our regulars who come in every week, and we usually know what they want before they even say a word. It is just a humble food stall trying to serve some decent rolls to the local crowd who are hungry.
