Savagat Garden Restaurant

Savagat Garden Restaurant is out on the Anand Dakor Road, near the Laxmipura area. It’s a bit different because we have some outdoor space which people seem to like when the weather is nice. We aren't in the middle of the crowded city, so there’s a bit more breathing room here. It’s a family-run place, and we do most of the work ourselves. The garden needs a lot of upkeep, and sometimes the grass isn't as green as we'd like, but it’s a nice change from being indoors. Our kitchen is simple and puts out local dishes. No fancy chefs with tall hats work here. It’s just good, basic cooking. People from Anand often drive out this way for a change of pace. Some lights are strung up for the evening, which makes it look okay. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Usually, people just see us while they are driving down the road toward Dakor. The service is pretty relaxed. Rushing people out of their seats isn't our style. It’s a place where you can sit for a while and talk with your friends. Repairs happen occasionally on the outdoor furniture, but we keep things functional. It’s just a plain garden restaurant where you can get some fresh air and a bite to eat without any drama. That is how we have always done it and we like it that way.
