Saffron Restaurant & Banquet

You can find us on the ground floor of the Shivsharnam Building on A V Road in Anand. We are quite close to the H M Patel Statue, which everyone in town knows. We have the restaurant area and then a banquet space for bigger groups. It gets really busy when there are local functions or birthdays. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and setting up tables. The floor is usually polished, but with so many people coming in, it’s a constant job to keep it clean. We don’t have a fancy website or a big PR team. It’s just us and the kitchen staff. Most of our workers have been here since we opened. We know each other’s families. The kitchen can get a bit loud during the lunch rush. We don't use any pre-made stuff if we can help it. Everything is cooked right there. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it’s too hot outside, and we have to call the repair guy. People in Anand like their food a certain way, and we try to do that. We don't try to be something we aren't. It’s a place for families to sit and eat. We see kids running around the banquet hall during parties. It’s a lot of work but we like being here at Saffron Restaurant & Banquet. We just keep doing our thing every single day.
