Our place is in the GIDC area over in Sojitra. We are at number 60. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly just warehouses and factories all around us. There’s a lot of grey concrete and big metal gates. We spend most of our time in the back where the work happens. The office part is just a small room with a couple of computers and a lot of files. It’s usually a bit of a mess because we have samples and boxes piled up everywhere. We handle apparel and things like that. Most days it’s just the sound of the sewing machines or the sound of the packing tape. We've been in this spot for a long time now. We know the other business owners on the street. We usually share a tea in the afternoons when things slow down a bit. Sojitra can be quiet, but GIDC is always humming with something going on. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and go home. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the side door, but we put a bucket there and it’s fine. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve got our rhythm down and everyone knows their part. It's just a regular workplace with regular people. We don't complicate things much. We just focus on getting the crates loaded and the paperwork finished before the sun goes down.
