If you’ve ever been to Sarnath, you know it has a different vibe—a bit more peaceful, I’d say. Our place is right there in the mix of things. We aren't a big chain or some fancy corporate school. We’re just a local spot for kids. The mornings are usually the best time, before it gets too hot or crowded with tourists heading to the stupas. We spend our days mostly just keeping things running. There’s always a kid who lost a shoe or someone needing help with a lunchbox. It’s not very glamorous work, to be honest. We don’t use those big words like excellence or vision. We just want the kids to have a place to go. The building itself is just a normal building. We’ve got some decorations up, but they’re the kind that look like they were made by real people, not bought from a store. Varanasi is a busy city, but out here in Sarnath, we have our own little pace. We’re just part of the neighborhood. People know us by name, and we know them. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way. No need for anything more than the name on the gate and a place for the children to play. It's just us here, day after day, trying to stay out of the dust.
