Canton Royal

I've been working at Canton Royal for a while now. We are tucked inside the Hotel Surya on The Mall Road in the Cantonment area of Varanasi. It’s right there at S 20/51 A-5 near the Varuna Bridge. People usually find us easily because the Surya Hotel is a known spot in the 221002 zip code. This part of Varanasi is a bit different from the ghats, it feels a little more spaced out here on Mall Road. We deal with guests staying at the hotel and people just passing through the Cantonment. The building has been here for years, and we just keep things running day to day. It’s a busy spot especially with the bridge nearby. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets a bit loud but inside it stays pretty calm. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors. Some are travelers, others are locals. We don't really do anything fancy, just make sure people have what they need when they stop by. The address is quite a mouthful when you write it all out, but most folks just say we are at the Surya Hotel. It's a practical location if you are near the railway station or heading toward the main part of town. I usually get here early before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with the daily routine keeps us all occupied. It’s just how things go at a place like Canton Royal in a city like this.
