Classic Cafe

Classic Cafe is tucked away in Rashmi Nagar, specifically at B31/18A, 18B-19. If you know the Lanka area in Varanasi, we are quite easy to find, especially since we are right near the Kamdhenu Apartment. The neighborhood is a mix of students, families, and people just passing through on their way to the university or the temples. We started this cafe because we wanted a place where people could just sit and have a cup of tea or a snack without any pressure. It is not a very big space, and the tables are a bit close together, but it makes for a nice atmosphere when it is full. We have some regular students who come in to read or talk, and they stay for hours sometimes. The street outside can be quite narrow and busy with bikes, but inside it is a bit more tucked away. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment; it is just a basic kitchen where we make what people like. The walls have a few posters and the lighting is just regular bulbs. We do our own cleaning and the cooking is handled by a small team. It is a local spot, through and through. We don't have a website or big marketing plans. We just open the doors every morning and see who comes in. It’s a simple life for us here in Lanka.
