Village Inn Bar And Restaurant

Our place is located on Malpe Main Road in the Pandhubettu area of Ambalapadi. Being in Udupi, you get used to the humidity and the smell of the salt air from the coast nearby. The Village Inn Bar And Restaurant is mostly a spot where locals stop in after a long day of work. It is not a quiet street by any means, especially with all the vehicles heading toward the beach or moving through Ambalapadi. We spend our mornings getting the bar ready and checking the kitchen supplies. The floor usually needs a good sweep after the night before. We have been at this location for a bit, and the building has its quirks like any old place. The lights sometimes flicker when the rain gets heavy during the monsoon season. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure there is food on the plates and drinks in the glasses. Most of our regulars have their favorite chairs and they don't like it when someone else sits in them. It can get loud when there is a game on the television or when the weekend crowd arrives. We just keep things moving along as best as we can. It’s a straightforward job for us, and we like being part of the neighborhood here on the main road.
