Hot Chix Restaurant

Hot Chix Restaurant is at number 13 in the Mandavi Emerald building. We are on End Point Road in Manipal, which is a busy area because of all the students and the university nearby. Being in the Udupi district, we get a lot of different people coming through. The restaurant is a simple place with basic seating. We have some posters on the walls and the furniture is mostly plastic or simple wood. It gets really packed in the evenings when classes are over. We have a small crew working here. Most of us have been around Manipal for a while. We spend our shift taking orders and making sure the tables are cleared for the next group of people. It can get a bit smoky from the kitchen when things are busy, but we open the doors to let the air in. The noise level is usually pretty high with everyone talking at once. We don't have a complicated menu or anything like that. We just serve what we have and try to keep everyone fed. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it has been a particularly busy day. The floors get a bit sticky by the end of the night, but we scrub them down every morning before we open up again. It is just a normal place for students and locals to hang out and eat something. Nothing fancy about it.
