Grab A Bite

Grab A Bite is a small shop located on the ground floor of the Greenview Apartments in Laxmindra Nagar, Manipal. We are situated right before you hit the Syndicate Bank Circle. Since we are in Manipal, most of our customers are students from the university nearby. They are always on their phones or laptops, even while they eat their lunch. The place is pretty compact, so it can get crowded quickly, especially in the evenings when classes are over. We serve quick things like sandwiches and small snacks that people can eat on the go. There isn't much space for a big kitchen, so we have to be very organized with our supplies. The apartment building above us is quiet, but our shop usually has music playing or just the sound of people talking. We have a few stools for people to sit on, but many just stand outside on the pavement or take their food back to their hostels. Manipal rains can be very heavy, so we often have students huddled inside waiting for the downpour to stop. We try to keep the prices low because we know students do not have much extra money to spend. It is a simple, friendly little corner. We do not have any fancy marketing. Usually, word of mouth among the students is how people find us. We just keep the toaster running.
