We are located out in Kalmadi, right on the Kodavoor Road as you head toward Malpe. If you've ever crossed the Kalmadi Bridge, you’ve probably seen us sitting nearby. Udupi is a busy place, but out here near the water, things feel a little different. We get a mix of locals from the village and people who are on their way to the beach. The air usually smells a bit like the sea, especially when the wind blows the right way. The restaurant isn't anything fancy, just a solid building with enough tables for the lunch rush. We start our day early, getting the kitchen ready before the sun gets too high. Being near the bridge means we get a lot of travelers who just need a place to sit for a bit. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where we do most of the work ourselves. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the road work and the trucks passing by, but we keep the floors swept. We don’t really go in for big advertisements or anything. Most people find us just by driving past or hearing about us from someone else in Malpe. It is a quiet enough spot in the evenings, but the afternoons are always humming with people. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure everyone has a seat. It's a simple life running a kitchen here by the coast. We’ve been at this for years and it’s just our daily life.
