Beena Restaurant

We have been running Beena Restaurant here on Shimoga Road for quite a while now. Our spot is right near the Mookambika Temple in Kollur, so we usually get a lot of people coming in after they finish their visit there. The place is pretty simple and nothing fancy, just a basic spot to sit down and eat something while you are in the Udupi area. We mostly handle the local crowd and the pilgrims who pass through. My family helps out with all the daily work to make sure things stay moving throughout the day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the temple gets really busy, but that is just how it is around here. We try to keep the tables clean and get the food out as quick as we can for everyone. It is not a big operation, just us and a few helpers working in the kitchen. People usually stop by for a quick bite before heading back on the road or going to their next stop. We are easy to find if you are walking from the temple or coming down the main road into Kollur. The weather here can get pretty humid, so we keep the fans going all day long. There isn't much to say about us other than we're here every day, from morning till night. If you are looking for a spot that isn't too complicated, that is basically what we are.
