Silver Coin Family Restaurant & Bar

We set up our restaurant and bar in the Krishna Kripa Complex, which sits right behind the KSRTC bus stand in Udupi. Being so close to the bus stand means we see plenty of travelers who are just arriving or waiting to head out on a trip. It is a family-run place. We have one section for families who want to eat with their children and another separate area for the bar. It is a large enough space, but it tends to fill up fast on the weekends. Udupi is famous for its food culture, and we just try to do our part by serving the local people. The complex itself is quite busy with many other shops and offices. We don’t have any of those fancy menus with bright pictures. It is just a list of what we are cooking that day. The staff is mostly made up of family members and a few helpers from the local area. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen every morning making sure everything is ready before the lunch rush begins. It involves a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the stoves, but we are used to it by now. The bus stand is the easiest way to find us. We have been here for a long time and plan to stay for many more years to come.
