New Pooja Restaurant

If you are looking for us in Udupi, we are situated right at the City Bus Stand. We are actually inside the Hotel Durga International building. It is a very busy part of town because of all the buses coming and going at all hours. You can always hear the horns and the conductors shouting from the platform outside. We get a lot of travelers who just stepped off a bus and need a meal before they head to their next stop. Then there are the regulars who work around the bus stand area. The place stays fairly busy most of the day. It is not a quiet spot by any means. We have been here for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. The staff here is used to the fast pace. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor, it is just a plain restaurant where you can sit down for a bit. It gets quite humid here in Udupi, so the breeze from the fans helps. Most people just want something simple to eat that fills them up. We open up early and stay open until late to catch the last bus crowds. It is just a part of the daily routine for us now. If you are passing through the bus stand, you will likely see our sign near the entrance of the hotel. We just keep things moving and serve the people who are in a hurry to get somewhere else.
