Manoj Bar & Restaurant

Manoj Bar & Restaurant sits right on Manipura Main Road in Udupi. We are pretty close to the Syndicate Bank, which makes us easy to find if you are walking around that part of town. Our address is 576101 and we've been here for quite some time now. The road outside is usually humming with traffic, especially during the day when everyone is heading to work or running errands. We open the doors and start our shift just like any other local business. It’s mostly about the daily grind of cleaning the floors, setting up the bar, and getting the kitchen ready for the afternoon and evening. There isn't much flair to it, just honest work. We see a lot of the same people coming in from the neighborhood. Some folks stop by after finishing their business at the bank nearby. Manipura Main Road is a central spot for us, and we feel like a staple of the street. Sometimes it’s just a few of us working the floor, and it gets a bit hectic when several groups walk in at once. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big marketing plan. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to it. The walls have seen a lot of years, and the furniture is well-used. It’s a place where people can just be themselves. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars and making sure things are running okay. The sign outside has been there a long time and the sun has faded it a little bit. We don't mind. People know where we are anyway. Inside, the lights are a bit dim sometimes, but it makes it feel more relaxed after being out in the bright Udupi sun all day.
