Snb Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small group of us farmers from Village Kotiya. We use Geeta Devi’s house as our main office, though it’s really just a place where we keep our papers and meet up after finishing in the fields. Most people in Kotiya know us because we’ve lived here all our lives. We started this company because we wanted to have a better way to organize our harvests and buy seeds together. It is much easier to get things done when you have a group behind you. Our daily life is pretty straightforward. We get up early, work the land, and then talk about what needs to be done next. We don't have any professional staff or big marketing budgets. Everything is handled by the farmers themselves. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get our produce to the right people, and that can be a headache, but we manage. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, just neighbors helping neighbors, but the company structure makes the official stuff easier to handle. We are just trying to make a decent living from our farms and ensure that our families are taken care of. It’s honest work, and we are proud to be from Kotiya.
