We are over here in Bengenabari Gaon, working out of Bathiram Goyari's place. Fwthar Producer Company Limited isn't some big operation with a glass building. We are just folks from the Udalguri area who decided it was time to work together. Darrang is mostly farmland, and that's where we spend our days. It’s quiet out here near Orang, and that suits us fine. We started this because doing things alone as a farmer is getting harder every year. Most of us have known each other since we were kids. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you'll probably just find us sitting around a wooden table talking about the next harvest or the price of supplies. The weather in Assam can be pretty unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the rain. We aren't trying to sell you a dream or use big words. This is just a group of local people trying to make the business side of farming a little bit easier for everyone in the village. The office is really just a room at the address provided, 784114. We keep our records there and meet up when the sun goes down. It’s not a polished business, just a practical way to manage what we grow. We focus on the work, not on making ourselves look important to outsiders. We just want to get by.
