Sastrapara Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are just a bunch of folks from Hagramari village working together under the name Sastrapara Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our spot is right by Khagen Daimari’s place here in Harisinga. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that, just local farmers trying to figure things out in Darrang. Most days you’ll find us out in the fields dealing with the mud and the heat. We grow what we can and try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. The weather in Assam can be tricky sometimes, either it rains too much or not enough, but we keep at it. Our address is Village Hagramari, Harisinga, Darrang, and the pin is 784510. We aren’t interested in fancy talk or making ourselves sound bigger than we are. We just know the soil and what it takes to get things growing. Sometimes the crops are good, sometimes they aren’t, that’s just how it goes for us here. We started this because doing things alone was getting harder every year. Now we share the load a bit more. If you ever find yourself in our part of Darrang, you’ll see we are just regular people with dirt under our fingernails. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If you want to talk, you just find one of us near Khagen’s. It is simple work, really, but it keeps us busy from sunrise till the sun goes down.
