Agwr Organic Agro Producer Company Limited is located in Vill No. 1, Dimakuchi. It’s part of the Sekhar mouza in the Udalguri district of Darrang. We’ve been out here in Assam for some time now. The area is mostly known for its land, so it made sense for us to set up an organic agro business here. We don't use a lot of those harsh chemicals you see in other places. We try to keep it more natural because that’s what works best for the soil we have in Dimakuchi. Our office is just a simple building where we meet up to figure out the schedule. It’s a group effort, really. Since we are a producer company, a lot of different people have a say in how things go. We talk about the crops, the rain, and how we’re going to get everything to the market. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s real work. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the monsoon, so we have to plan around that. People in the village know us as the ones who are always busy with the dirt and the plants. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. We just let the way things grow do the talking. It’s a quiet existence in Udalguri, and we’re happy to be doing something that feels useful to the community and the land itself. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
