Zucchini An Indo Italian Restaurant

We are over at Balaji Complex in Udaipur. It's right across from the Hanuman Temple at Court Circle, so it’s pretty easy to find if you know the area. We’ve been serving a mix of Indian and Italian dishes for a while now. Some people want pasta, some want local flavors, so we just do both. The kitchen gets busy around lunch time when the office crowd from around Court Circle comes in. It's a simple setup inside. We didn't spend a fortune on decorations, just enough to make it comfortable to eat. Rajasthan is hot, so the AC is usually running full blast. We handle the daily rush as it comes. Sometimes the orders take a bit longer if the place is full, but we try our best to keep up. It’s just a regular restaurant. You’ll see the sign for Zucchini when you get to the complex. Being near the temple means there's always a bit of noise and life outside. We like the energy of this part of Udaipur. It's not a big corporate chain, just us running the show. We buy our vegetables from the local markets nearby. Every day is different. One day everyone wants pizza, the next day it's all curry. We just cook what's on the menu and hope people enjoy their meal. That’s about it for us at Balaji Complex. We've been here long enough that the temple bells are just part of the background. It's just home for us.
