Aranyawas Restaurant

Located out here in Village Maga, near Tehsil Sayra, things are pretty quiet compared to the main Udaipur city. We are part of the Aranyawas Resort area, right in the Ranakpur region. It’s quite a drive to get here, about 90 kilometers or so from the Udaipur HO, but the scenery changes once you get off the main highway. Most days it is just the sound of the wind or some birds around the village. People usually stop by when they are visiting the temples nearby or just driving through the Rajasthan countryside. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The staff here mostly lives nearby in the village, so everyone knows the local roads and the weather patterns pretty well. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the evenings in the hills are decent. We don’t have much of the city noise here, which is why some folks like the trip out. The kitchen stays busy with whatever is in season. Sometimes the power goes out when it rains heavy, but we manage. It’s just how things go in this part of the woods. If you’re looking for us, we are tucked away behind the main resort gates. It's not a flashy place, just a kitchen and some tables where you can sit down after a long day of traveling. We try to keep things simple and tidy for whoever walks through the door.
