Ashapura Restaurant & Tiffin Centre

We are located over on Pratap Nagar Road in the Bhuwana area of Udaipur. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but Chitrakut Nagar keeps us busy enough. The tiffin part of the business takes up a lot of our energy. Every morning starts early with the sound of metal containers clinking together. We spend hours packing up meals for people who are heading off to work or school. The restaurant side of things is also there, with enough seats for folks who want to sit down. The 313001 area has grown a lot since we first started out here. Bhuwana used to feel much quieter than it does now. Sometimes the road gets blocked up with traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our kitchen is the heart of the place, always smelling like spices and steam. We don’t have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just focus on getting the tiffins out on time. The furniture is practical, nothing special to look at, just sturdy wood and metal. On some days, the heat in Rajasthan can be a real struggle, but we keep the water cold and the fans running. It’s hard work running a tiffin center, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and get on with the cooking and cleaning without making a big fuss.
