Amrit Mahal (Trident Hotel)

Amrit Mahal is located inside the Trident Hotel in Udaipur. We are right in the main Udaipur HO area. Being in Rajasthan, we get a lot of visitors from all over, but we also have people from town who come by. The hotel itself is quite a landmark, so finding us isn't usually a problem for anyone. We operate within that space. It’s a big building, and we have our own corner where we do things our way. The atmosphere is generally quiet, which is nice because Udaipur can get pretty crowded during the tourist season. We keep the place tidy and ready for guests. It’s not about being the loudest or most modern spot. We just focus on the routine of service. The staff knows the menu inside out. We spend our days making sure the ingredients are fresh and the dining area looks okay. Sometimes we have a lot of people at once, and other times it’s just a few tables. We don’t mind either way. We just keep the same pace. The view outside is nice, as you'd expect in Udaipur. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do here. It’s a restaurant, we serve food, and we try to make sure people are fed well before they go back to their travels or their homes. It’s been our way for a long time and we don’t see a reason to change how we work.
