You can find us over at Amet Haveli, right by the Jada Ganesh choraha. We are tucked away outside Chandpole in the Udaipur HO area. Being right by the water means we get a lot of people coming through to see the view, but we try to keep it feeling like a real place, not just a tourist stop. It’s an old building, so it has its quirks, like uneven floors or thick walls, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. The staff knows the shortcuts around the narrow streets to get things done. We mostly just focus on getting the food out and making sure people have a chair. It gets busy, especially when the weather is nice and everyone wants to sit near the edge. We don't do much in the way of big advertising. Most people find us because they’re walking around the old city or someone told them we were here. We see a lot of travelers, but local families come too for special times. It’s a bit of a walk through the lanes to get to us, but that’s just how Udaipur is. We like being part of the old neighborhood. We just keep things moving, wash the dishes, and get ready for the next shift every single day. Living and working in this old part of Udaipur means you get used to the noise and the people, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the kitchen fires going.
