Berrys Restaurant

Berrys Restaurant is located right at Chetak Circle in Udaipur. This is a very busy part of the city where several roads meet, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about. We’ve been here at 313001 for a good number of years. The restaurant isn't very large, but we have enough space for a few rows of tables. During the day, we get a lot of people who are working nearby or tourists who are headed towards the lakes. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass windows because the dust from the circle settles on everything pretty quickly. The kitchen is tucked away in the back, and that’s where most of the work happens. We start our day by checking the supplies and making sure we have enough tea and coffee for the morning rush. It gets pretty loud when the buses go past the circle, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have any big posters or flashy lights outside. It’s just a simple sign and a door that stays open most of the day. Sometimes we have to move the chairs around to fit a bigger family, and things can get a bit cramped. We just try to get the food out while it’s still hot. It’s a straightforward job, and we don’t try to make it seem like anything more than it is.
