Yummy Yoga

Udaipur is a beautiful place, but the area around Outside Chandpol is where real life happens. We are located on Acharya Marg 2, which is quite close to Hanuman Ghat. If you walk down the lane, you can feel the old city vibe. Yummy Yoga isn’t one of those expensive tourist places you see in magazines. It’s just a space we have near the Udaipur Ho area. The building is simple, and we spend a lot of time sweeping the floors because the wind brings in a lot of dust from the ghats. In the mornings, you can hear the bells from the temples and the sound of people starting their chores. It’s a bit tucked away, so some people get lost trying to find Acharya Marg, but once they see Hanuman Ghat, they know they are close. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. There are some mats, a few windows that let in the light, and that’s about it. Being here in Udaipur-rajasthan - 313001 means dealing with the narrow streets and the cows that sometimes block the way. It’s just how things are in this part of town. I usually open up early when it’s still cool outside. By midday, it gets pretty warm, but the walls are thick enough to keep some of the heat out. It’s a quiet life here, mostly just neighbors and the occasional traveler who wanders in from the lake side.
