Udaipur Craft Exports Private Limited

Our office at Udaipur Craft Exports Private Limited is over at 8 Ambamata B Saheli Marg and it’s usually full of boxes and packing tape. Since we handle a lot of exports, there is always a bit of a mess with bubble wrap and wooden crates lying around the entrance. It’s a decent-sized space but it fills up fast when the artisans bring their finished crafts in from the villages. We spend a lot of time checking through items to make sure nothing got broken on the way here. The neighborhood is a bit quieter than the main market which is nice for when we have to focus on the shipping documents. Most of the staff has been here for years so we all know the routine pretty well by now. We usually have a bit of a rush on Mondays trying to get everything ready for the containers. The phone rings a fair bit and someone is always looking for a lost receipt or a misplaced list. It’s a practical environment without any fluff. We have a small backyard where we stack the empty pallets until the truck comes to pick them up. Sometimes we sit out there for lunch if the weather isn't too hot. It’s just a lot of physical work mixed with some basic office tasks to keep the business moving along as it should.
