Saheli Bazar

We have been over at 2, Main Road Ashok Nagar for quite a while now. Saheli Bazar is basically just a local spot where folks from around the neighborhood drop in when they need something quick. It isn't a huge place, and the shelves are usually packed pretty tight with all sorts of things. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered because we try to fit in as much as we possibly can for people. We open up the shutters every single morning and usually stay until the sun goes down. Most of the people who walk in are faces we see every week, so we know their names and what they usually look for. The shop stays busy because of the location on the main road, though the traffic noise can get a bit loud during the rush hours. We do not do anything fancy here. No big advertisements or expensive signs or anything like that. It’s just us running the place day to day. We have some regulars who just stop by to say hello while they are out running errands. It feels good to be part of the street life in Ashok Nagar. We handle all the inventory ourselves, so sometimes things might be a little out of place, but we always find what a customer is looking for eventually. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people around here. We just take it one day at a time.
