Udai Kothi Restaurant

We started Udai Kothi Restaurant because we liked the spot here on Hanuman Ghat Marg. It’s right on Pichola Lake, which is why people usually find us. Udaipur HO is a busy area but being by the water makes it a bit different. We just serve food and try to keep things running. The building has been here for a while. We open up in the morning and stay busy until the evening. Sometimes the lake wind gets a bit much, but it is part of being here. It’s a local place. Most of our staff live nearby in Udaipur-rajasthan 313001. We don’t have fancy signs or anything. Just the tables and the kitchen. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure the chairs are straight. People come in, eat, and look at the water. It is a simple setup really. We’ve had some regulars for years now. They know where we are tucked away. You walk down the marg and there we are. We try to keep the noise down but it gets lively. The kitchen is always going. We buy our vegetables from the local markets every day. It is just a regular restaurant doing its thing by the lake. Nothing too complicated. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure everyone gets their plate on time. That is pretty much us. We are just here at Hanuman Ghat Marg doing our work.
