Shri Ambey Bhojnalay

If you find yourself near the Old Railway Station in Udaipur, you’ll likely see Shri Ambey Bhojnalay. We are right on Airport Road at Thokar Chouraha. It is a very busy intersection, and there is always something going on outside our door. Being opposite the station and near Maaji Ki Saray means we get a lot of travelers passing through. Many people come in carrying heavy bags, looking for a quick meal before they catch a bus or a train. We keep the benches and tables ready for anyone who needs to sit down for a bit and rest. The cooking starts early because the morning trains bring in hungry people from all over. It’s a humble place, mostly just walls, some fans, and the smell of spices in the air. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the traditional ways we’ve always known. The staff has been with us for a while, and they know how to handle the rush. Sometimes it gets a little loud with the traffic and horns outside, but you get used to it after a while. We serve the kind of food we eat at home ourselves. No gimmicks or anything like that. Just honest portions for people on the move. We like being part of the Udaipur Ho area. It feels like we are right in the thick of the city's energy. Just a simple bhojnalay doing what it does best every single day.
