Shreeji Handicraft Emporium

Shreeji Handicraft Emporium is located inside Kamal Niwas, which is right at 5 Bhatiyani Chohata. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a new coat of paint one of these days. We have been here for a long time, selling different kinds of handicrafts that we pick up from all over. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things pretty high. If you’re looking for something specific, you might have to ask because it’s probably buried under a pile of other things. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The street outside is always full of energy, with people heading to the temples or the markets nearby. We usually leave the front door open to let in a bit of a breeze, even though it brings in the noise from the street. It’s a very simple setup we have here. We don't use any computers for our daily work; we just write everything down in a big ledger. It’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we just keep going. People who come in are usually surprised by how much we managed to fit into such a small space. We just like our little spot in Kamal Niwas and the people we meet every day. Most of our visitors are tourists who just happened to stumble upon us.
