Shreeji Art & Crafts

Shreeji Art & Crafts is located at 26, Bhatiyani Chohata, directly across from the Dhola Devera Temple. Being right across from the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going for prayers. Our shop is quite small and the shelves are always overflowing with different items. We don't really have a system for where everything goes, so it can take a minute to find something specific. We’ve been in this same spot for years and haven't changed much about how we run things. It’s just me and a couple of others doing the daily tasks. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just our hands and some basic tools that have served us well. The street can be quite noisy with the bells and the traffic, but we find it comforting in a way. We aren't looking to expand or become a big company. We just want to keep making our crafts and living our lives here in the heart of the city. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little through the front door, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s a very normal, local business where everyone knows each other. If you’re ever near the temple, you can’t miss our sign, even if it is a little crooked. We are usually here until late evening every day of the week.
