Shree Rama Handicraft

Shree Rama Handicraft is located at 65-A on Chintamani Marg, which is just a short walk from Gulab Bagh. Being near Rao Ji Ka Hatta means there’s always something happening on the street, whether it’s people walking to the gardens or neighbors chatting. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of the things we make. There’s a specific smell of old wood and paint that hits you when you walk in. We’ve been at this address for years, and the walls are starting to show their age a bit, but we like it that way. It feels lived in. Every morning, we sweep the front step and arrange a few items outside so people passing by can see what’s new. Sometimes we get distracted talking to the tea seller next door or helping someone find their way to the main road. The work itself is quiet. We sit on the floor mostly, working on the small details of the handicrafts. It takes time, and our eyes get tired by the end of the day, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a big sign or bright lights, just the address on the door and the work sitting on the shelves. It’s a regular neighborhood place where we do our thing and try to keep the space tidy enough for visitors to walk through without tripping over a box of supplies.
