Shree Ganesh Handicrafts

We are located at 40 Bhatiyani Chohata, which is right near Ashind Ki Haveli. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded with people walking to the temples or just looking around the old city. We are right opposite Shivam Cafe, so we hear the clinking of cups and people chatting all day long. Shree Ganesh Handicrafts is basically a small place filled with all kinds of things we have gathered or made over the years. It is a bit cramped inside, to be honest. There are boxes stacked in the corners and the shelves are pretty much full. My cousin helps me out most days. We spend a lot of time just dusting things off because the street outside kicks up a lot of dirt. It is not the quietest spot to work, but it is where we have always been. Sometimes travelers stop in because they are lost or just want to see what we have on the walls. We do not really have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the door and a lot of handicrafts sitting around. It gets really busy in the afternoons when the sun is not so sharp. We usually stay open until it gets dark and the street lights come on. It is a simple life here in Udaipur, just running the shop and talking to whoever walks through the door. It is what we do.
