Shree Anapurna Restaurant & Bhojnalaya

Shree Anapurna Restaurant & Bhojnalaya is located in the Saveena area of Udaipur, specifically in Sector-9. We are right near the Karsi Sabji Mandi, which is the local vegetable market. Being so close to the mandi means things get very active around here early in the morning. You can hear the trucks and the people buying and selling as we are getting our kitchen ready. We decided to open this place to give the market workers and the people living in Saveena a place to eat. It is a very basic setup. We have a few rows of tables and chairs, and the kitchen is right there. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It is just a simple bhojnalaya where the food is prepared like it is at home. Some days are busier than others, especially on market days, but we manage. The staff consists of a few local guys who know the area well. We don't use any marketing tricks to get people in. Most of our customers find us because they are already at the Sabji Mandi or they live in the nearby houses. It's a bit dusty and loud because of the location, but that is just part of the charm of Saveena. We just focus on our daily chores and making sure there is enough food for everyone who comes by. It is honest work and it keeps us connected to the community here.
