Shivam Handicraft

Shivam Handicraft is located at 22 Gangaur Ghat Road. This is right in the heart of Udaipur, near the lake. It is a very busy street with a lot of shops and people walking by all the time. Being so close to the water is nice, but it also means the roads are narrow and sometimes crowded with tourists. We have our little spot here where we keep all our things. It’s not a massive warehouse, just a traditional building that we have made our own. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we are always cleaning the shelves and tables. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business well. We spend our days handling the items and talking to whoever drops by. The light in the afternoon is really something when it hits the buildings across the street. We’ve grown used to the noise of the scooters and the bells from the nearby temples. It's just the background music to our day. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. We start when the sun is up and finish when the work is done. It’s a simple way to live and work. We don't have any big plans to move or change things. We like it right here on Gangaur Ghat Road, close to the water and the life of the city.
