You will find Sheela Handicraft at 54, Moti Chohata. We are right across from the post office. It is a convenient spot because everyone knows where the post office is. The shop is not very big, but we have made it work for a long time. There is a lot of stuff piled up inside, from raw materials to things that are almost ready. We do not really have a process for where things go; they just end up where there is space. Most of the work we do is by hand, so there is not much machinery noise. We spend a lot of time sitting and focusing on small details. It can be hard on the eyes, but it is what we do. Moti Chohata is always moving, with bikes and rickshaws going past the door. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep us company. The building is old and the floor is a bit uneven, but it serves its purpose. We do not have any big goals or fancy plans. We just want to get the day's work done and go home to our families. If you stop in, do not expect a formal greeting. We will probably just look up from our work and say hello. It is just a regular local shop where we put in our hours every day.
