Saffir Restaurant

Saffir Restaurant is over on the outside of Surajpole in Udaipur. We are at 27-28 Udaipur Ho, which is a pretty well-known part of the city for locals. Being just outside the main pole means we get a lot of people passing through on their way into the heart of the city or heading out toward the newer areas. It’s a busy spot with lots of bikes and rickshaws constantly going by. Our place isn't big, but we have enough tables for the lunch rush and the dinner crowd. We mostly serve local folks who live around Surajpole and some tourists who wander off the main path. The building is older, and we haven't done much to change the look of it because we like it the way it is. It feels like home to us. The kitchen is always busy, and you can usually smell the spices hitting the air from the street. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website; we just rely on people walking in because they're hungry. The menu is simple and features things we know how to cook well. If you’re around the 313001 area and need a place to sit down for a bit, we’re right there. We just focus on keeping the floor swept and the food hot. It’s a basic, hardworking restaurant in a busy part of Rajasthan.
