We started Ruchika Garden over in the Paneriyon Ki Madri area of Udaipur. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which we actually like. It’s a bit quieter out here. The place is more of an open space where people can come and gather. We didn't want to build a big concrete box, so we kept it more open with a garden feel. It’s not a perfectly manicured park or anything, just a nice spot with some plants and tables. We’ve spent a lot of time getting the ground leveled and making sure there’s enough shade for when the sun is out. It’s a local business, run by a few of us who live nearby. We don't have a huge staff or corporate rules. We just open up and welcome whoever walks in. Sometimes we host small family get-togethers or local meetings. It’s been a lot of work keeping the plants alive during the summer months, but we do our best with the water we have. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we get families coming by in the evenings. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People usually find us just by walking through the area. We keep things very informal here. You won't find any fancy uniforms or complicated menus. It’s just a plain, honest place for the community to use. We’re proud of what we’ve built here in Paneriyon Ki Madri, even if it’s just a simple garden spot.
