Restaurant Gateway

You can find us right on City Palace Road, which is just outside the main City Palace entrance. We are also very close to the Shree Jagat Shiromani Temple. This part of Udaipur is always full of people, so there is a lot of movement right outside our front door. we have been here for a good while, and the building shows its age a little, but we do our best to keep it clean and comfortable for everyone. Inside, it is a straightforward setup. We do not have any corporate training or polished uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and focus on getting the food out to the tables. Because of where we are, we see a lot of travelers, but we also have our regular local customers who stop by after work. On the weekends, it can get a bit crowded and loud, which makes the kitchen a very busy place to be. My brother takes care of the shopping and the money, while I usually spend my time making sure the orders are correct. We do not have any big mission or anything. We just want to serve a decent meal to anyone who walks in. The noise from the street is always there, but you stop noticing it after a while. It is a practical spot for a bite to eat when you are walking around the palace area. We just keep things simple and real.
