Rare Arts

Rare Arts is located right by the lake, near Jethiyon Ka Akhada. It's a quiet enough spot most of the time. We have all sorts of things tucked away in the corners here. It’s not a big showroom with lights and mirrors. It is more like a workspace where stuff just accumulates. We handle different pieces every day. Some days are slow and we just sit and look out toward the water. Other days it gets hectic when a lot of things come in at once. Being near the lake is good because the breeze helps in the summer months. People usually find us by asking around Jethiyon Ka Akhada since it is a well-known landmark. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. The walls are a bit dusty and the floor has seen better days, but it works for us. We've been doing this for years now. It’s a family thing mostly. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you need something, you usually have to wait a minute while we find it under a pile of other things. That is just the way we operate. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just like what we do and stay here by the lake. Sometimes a stray dog comes in to sleep in the shade, and we don't mind much. The sunsets over the water are the best part of being here.
