RAJMANDIR Restaurant

We are located at Shop no.1 on Bhatiyani Chohta road in Udaipur. Our restaurant, RAJMANDIR, is right opposite the Jagdish Temple. It is a very busy area with a lot of people walking around, especially because of the temple. You can hear the bells and the traffic all day long. The shop itself is not very big. We have enough room for people to sit and eat, but it’s not one of those huge places you see in magazines. Udaipur is a city where things feel old and traditional, and we fit into that in our own way. We prepare the food in the back and serve it as it comes out. It’s not a fancy operation with a lot of rules. We just do what we know how to do. The road outside is narrow and can get quite crowded with bikes and tourists. We see people from all over the world because of where we are, but we also have the locals who stop in for a quick bite. It stays pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get people in. The sign is out front and people find us. It’s a simple life running a restaurant here. We worry about the daily stuff like getting fresh supplies and making sure the tables are clean. That is about it for us. We are just a small shop on a busy Udaipur street. It's not a lot, but it keeps us going.
