Purohit Cafe

We are over at 30-31 Garden Road inside the Anand Complex. It’s right near Hotel Vishnu Priya if you’re looking for us. This part of Udaipur is always bustling with people. Our cafe is just a small, humble spot. We have a few tables tucked inside and it isn’t anything fancy to look at. We mostly serve snacks, tea, and some basic South Indian dishes. The coffee is what brings most people in during the morning hours. We open up early to catch folks before they start their work day. The street outside is usually loud with all the traffic passing by. We have been here for a lot of years now. The walls could probably use some new paint, but we spend most of our time busy in the kitchen. We know most of our regulars by name and we know exactly how they like their tea served. It can be a real squeeze if more than a few people come in at the same time. We don't have those fancy printed menus. We just have a board that shows what we have for the day. Sometimes we run out of the popular items by the middle of the afternoon. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It is just a practical little place for a quick break. We don't do anything too complicated here. It is just food and drink for the neighborhood people and anyone else passing by.
