Prince Craft Works

Our shop, Prince Craft Works, sits at 42 Pratap Nagar, right near Swaroop Sagar Lake. It’s a nice enough spot, though the dampness from the water sometimes makes the wood swell in the monsoon season. We do a lot of our work right there in the front so we can see who’s passing by. The lake view is mostly blocked by other buildings now, but you can still smell the water when the wind blows right. It’s a small place, mostly just a workbench and some storage shelves in the back. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just like making things and selling them to whoever stops by. The address is easy to find if you know the Pratap Nagar area. Most of our neighbors are also doing some kind of trade, so there’s always the sound of hammers or saws nearby. It’s a working neighborhood, not a fancy tourist street. We keep our doors open most of the day, unless it’s too dusty. If you need something specific, you might have to wait a week or two. That’s just how we operate here, without any rush or corporate pressure.
